I have never really agreed with much of what he writes about in our local newspaper, but his column on 1-22-2013 was a perfect response by a studied and brilliant scholar at the Hoover Insitiute.

Click on the above link to read his article.

I need a couple of minutes to go back and get this link back up, my copy/paste function is not working properly.

Thomas Sowell is an Economist by training and writes regularly in Townhall.com. Brillant, incisive mind. His columns highlight the difference between wisdom and intelligence. Always worth reading. Chichay

    I think he nailed it!

"Gun control laws allow some people to vent their emotions, politicians to grandstand and self-righteous people to "make a statement" — but all at the cost of other people's lives". - Thomas Sowell

Sowell is probably the smartest guy in the country, if not the world.

The facts are an irritating inconvenience when you have an agenda to prosecute.

Thomas Sowell is one of my favorite people. He is brilliant and his books, of which there are many, ALWAYS contain things we could all learn. This man is a national treasure. Together with Dr. Walter Williams you could get a PhD. just listening to them have a conversation.
