Hate to say it but this miserable hot and humid weather here in VA is making me consider becoming a 90/40 shooter. I am already shooting any practice before about 10AM so that I can avoid 90+ temps and humidity. The next logical progression would be to avoid shoots when the temps will be above 90 and of course that will lead to this winter when I'll start avoiding any shoots where the temp will be below 40. I think I am becoming a WUSS!! The next thing I will be shopping for Skeet guns ;o)

Pat It has been passing warm before daylight for at least the last month. Actually though the first 4 days of the State shoot were nice or as you say Warm.

captin I put sun block on my knotty old bald head the other day (You know the good stuff that is supposed to last forever and not wash off) and by the time I got to my second post it had sweated off my head through my head band and down into my eyes. Once it got there the long lasting properties kicked in and despite my best efforts I shot through a oilslick for the rest of the round.

This will get you ready if you are going to Sparta, this will be the normal temp,90 +. Set in your car behind your bank with AC on before you shoot. Do it every year. Clyde Doll

No wonder the Western shooters are better. Summers can be warm, but dry, and Winters aren't as brutal as they are EOM.

I'm headed to a shoot in the mtns, where it will still be under 90. I've seen too man shooters in dire straits due to heat.

Local shoot tomorrow. Forecast high is 96. Relative humidity, who cares. Very light to no wind. Lovely day for shooting.

Thanks Bob Just what I needed. to be "outed" as not only a reformed Skeeter but a 3200 addict. Hi my name is Chip and I love shooting Skeet with a good Remington 3200.

All BS aside thanks buddy that will get copied into my book of memories. IIRC VA State shoot 2006??

Pat are you referring to WINDchester??
