I shot a 9mm CZ75 a couple of years ago and really liked it. I am thinking of getting a CZ 97 in .45 ACP. Will use it for casual target shooting.

Does anyone have one and do you like it?

CZ pistols are all good guns. I have owned several CZ 75 in
both 9mm and .40 Very accurate and dependable. The trigger
pull in both DA and SA leave alot to be desired unless you
have a good "smith" work them over.

Check out Cajun Gun Works if you're interested in the CZ 97. David has been doing a lot of fantastic custom work with these guns, including hand-fitting an improved 1911-style bushing to them. He's really been able to achieve some fantastic accuracy with his custom 97's. Worth checking out if you're at all interested in the platform. Overall, CZ's are excellent firearms.

Many thanks, Gents, for your replies. Now I need to handle one for myself.
