What a sight! About ten fellow shooters lined up on the 16-yard line to shoot my hat, which was tossed out of the trap house straight up and landed about 15 yards beyond the trap house, from all the shot hitting it. There is still some lead in the visor of the hat, and it will stay there! The brewski's were on me afterward.

Oh, did I mention I shot my first 100-straight today?

And before anyone asks, 7 1/2's.

Congratulation Porcupine I missed it by one last Sunday. I thought about the hat on the way home from the shoot and thought , damm I just got this from Cabelas' $30.00 + shipping. I thought, what the hell I can always get a new hat but I can only shoot "one" first one hundred straight!

Great job. When I shot my first 100 straight my friends wanted to shoot my hat but, I refused. They insisted that I wear my hat a when they shot.

You would have never shot your 100 straight if they'd make the game harder. See we need new handicap rules. I'm joking for petes sake. HELL of a GOOD JOB!!!! When is it my turn??----Matt

Great job! Do you mind if I join in? I think I might just print a picture of that hat and go outside and shoot it myself.

Congrats on the 100 but shame on your hat shooters....that hat is WAY too intact...it needs at least one more volley I'd say from about 10 yards closer...even shooting it once it hits the ground is totally legal in our neck of the woods...you should be able to read a scoresheet through it

Well on thing that you dont have to worry about is shooting the Hats of the 10 guys that shot your hat, because if 10 guys shot at that Hat ( there are not that many holes in it ) they dont seem to be that good, I have seen hats totally destroyed by a lot less shooters... LOL

Way to go! When I shot my first 25 and 100 straight no one shot my hat! Kind of wish someone had so I could have a memory box. I did kiss my Krieghoff after the 100 straight lol.

    Porcupine, CONGRATS!!!!!

My first was last year, hit another this year in June. Feels GOOD,, dont it? I'll be doin' my best to do it again this weekend at Jaquas, Good Lord willing.

No one shot my hat, first I've heard of such a thing??? If anyone would have though, I'd wear that hat with pride.

    Matt
