    Yup, I'll admit it, I did respond. And just for (more) fun of it, if you like Bob Willits or whatever his name was, listen to Asleep At The Wheel. They're from Texas too, and they do that Wills brand of swing just fine.

    Ray Benson is from New Jersey, Not Texas, He lives in Austin, Texas now and Does a great Job with Bob Wills music. Bob Wills and some of his
    Texas Playboys used to pull cotton in the West Texas Area where I grew up.

    You guys are a bunch of johny come latelys!! Eddy Arnold, number one hits in 5 diferent decades. the best thiers ever been or ever will be! What about Hank Snow, Sunny James, Willie Nelson, Marty Robbins, Earnest Tubbs and that fella they called Hank Williams Sr. I know all you guyes are older than I am, so you should remember the really greats.

    CCrdir I think that Hank Thompson has the record for the most #1 hits and that is 6 decades. He passed away about 2 years ago. But most all of the country musicans had some great hits and Great entertainers.
