    Now that was really neat. I've never seen how a shot gun pattern works dynamically. As the shot moves away from the center of the load, it falls back fast.

    Shot goes off screen fast so you loose the overall picture quickly.

    They used a lot of canister rounds in Vietnam. It really cleared the jungle of Charlies quick. Only 105 MM back then but same idea. The ones we had used slugs just a bit shorter than a cigarette filter. Not round ones. Bill

    When I was but a lad and stationed in Korea back in 57-58, we had a few canister rounds on our M-46 and M-47 tanks.

    They were for anti-personnel, or to put it another way, when they charge us in mass, we use these rounds.

    Thankfully the war was over before I got there, so I never had to fire a shot.

    Loved being a tanker. One of the joys of my life.
