Just heard the U.S. Treasury is going to realease the real figures on the national debt.--Its 45 trillion-That comes to $456,000.00/household. I don't give a damn now. Our country has been sold down the tubes by liars in Washington. We have lost 2 Trillion in retirement savings. Obama & or McCain can't help us unless we s---can congress. The congressional election is more important than the cheer leader.

Hmmm I just read on the internet that Plexico Burris lost Somthing like $117,000 for the Game he missed last Sunday. Maybe the NY Giants could help us out here. No shortage of money there he had a big smile on his face. I'm sure if we really begged A-Rod might kick in a few bucks and Lebron James too .

Lou, couple that with the huge oil field found in the Dakotas and Montana, the largest ever found including any in the Middleast, that the Democrats won't let be drilled and you have an even bigger reason to sh**can the Democrats. I will be voting a straight Republican ticket and I hope all shooters follow or lead as the case may be. We can no longer have a split House and Senate.

Lou, you just figured out were bankrupt? We've been going south since Lyndon Johnson spent millions on the Vietnam war and the War on Poverty in this country. The fourty-five trillion or so is a compilation of debt that included the years of Johnson, Ford, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush light!

Lou, I can't imagine anyone wanting to be the President of United States right now! Our country is in the worst financial shape since at least the 30's. In fact before it gets better we may be worst off than the Great Depression! Neither candidate is going to be able to work with this congress because the congressional numbers are to close to get a mandate on any bill brought to the floor.

Since Congress will never give a President a "Line Item Veto" or limit their terms in office, this country is destined to the largest transfer of wealth in mankind. In the end we will be an over-populated second rate power!

I will vote Republican because of the experience and character issues.

Given that we are up to our eyeballs in debt, how will Obama's plans for national health insurance help us out of debt?

Just how will raising taxes on business help the economy?

How long will it take for the Middle East to boil over if we pull out of Iraq too soon?

How strong will our military be in 4 years if we drastically reduce military spending?

As to energy independence, just how much difference will wind generated electricity really make?

And finally, if Obama is elected, how many "community activist" type groups will come out of the woodwork looking for government money for their particular agendas?

On the issue of character, think about this. How many business deals, no matter how good they looked or what the other party promised, would you enter if the other party was a crook?

As for me, the most important issue in friendship, a business deal or in the selection of our President, is character.

It was easy. Just took some time, is all. The money boys had their fox (Federal Reserve Corporation) in complete charge of the hen house.

An inch here, some lobby money there, no grants to conservative learning establishments but the radical left wallowed in government and private corporation money.

Teaching bullshit, soon it was accepted as truth. Only people who could think for themself knew anything real, the rest was fairyland. They have gotten a hold of the educational system from kindergarten on("Heather has 2 Mommies")

They had a nice harvest in 1987, but really it was just a trial run. This time around the aim is to get the New World Order firmly in place, and bring feudalism back.

The smarter ones among us have had their conscience stifled, and scramble to become Dukes, Earls, and Barons. Doesn't matter who they step on, either.

But the King is a Hydra, with many heads, and keeps well hidden.

I don't mind when people laugh or sneer at what I say, because I see it and they don't.

Jesus is really going to be pissed when he comes back.

I can't believe any of you would even vote in this election! It is not your duty to vote...it is your right as an American citizen. So why in the hell would you vote Republican and have more of the same just to keep a Muslim from running our country...MAKES NO SENSE! THE ONLY WAY TO SHOW THE POWER OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IS NOT TO VOTE. It sends a message that we are tired of all the lies and corruption.

    2. Slash welfare rolls for able bodied people. (Excludes mentally or physically disabled individuals). No work, NO eat.

    3. Make Congress transparent. No closed door meetings (Military and top secret dealings excluded). Televise all meetings, record all phone calls. Any dealings determined not in the interest of the United States or those who voted you into office = jail time.

Politicians are only giving the people what they want. If you don't agree with the government spending you don't get reelected. We all know that Social Security and Medicare are getting ready to go belly up, and we want national health care added on. Obama is even talking about free college and free day care to go with the free health care. Biden during the presidential debate talked about judges reducing the amount of the principle owed on mortgage loans. Free housing for all. Everything for free. And we are surprised by the national debt. We can't afford the socialism we already have and they are getting ready to add trillions on. Don't blame the war in Iraq. It is a drop in the bucket.

I read it is only 33,400.00 per citizen. So a family of 4 only owes 133,600 dollars. Lets keep adding to it and see how high we can go before the total collapse. Think of it like a game and it could be fun.

I said a long time ago that if you let George run the show time will tell that we as a country will be in the worst shape ever and now it's true. Damn the luck anyway. Just wish that he would have listened to one adviser that had one bit of morality and fiscal responsibility to his words. He didn't and now look where we sit as a nation. The Dow was down another 500 pts today. I wonder what it will be like on election day? The bottom has to be in the 6000 range. I don't trust any of the experts that are telling us what will happen because of this financial crisis. Yes this nation is close to bankrupt with China holding the note. Damn!!!!!!!! Dan

I've lost more on paper than most people can dream of---for the sake of our country & your future--take your heads out of the past and vote every & I mean every incumbent out of office & continue to do this till the end of time. If you keep voting for the same a--holes they & their families will continue to laugh at you on the way to the bank. They use our petty fetishes to feed our egoes while they screw us.

Damn it get smart. If they're in they're out- Be Republican or Damocract.

We need a congress and a president that will cut the spending and pay off the debt. The trouble is they can't get reelected. Americans are a bunch of crybabies that want to be taken care of. Maybe China will forgive our debt for us like we do the third world. If only we ask real nice. I hope they take care of us in our old age.

Take heart fellow conservatives. At this point in the cycle, Al Gore had an 11 point lead on W. Don't count your chickens yet, Cheeseny.
