    You are premature and underarmed. I understand your sentiments but any such measure should have a faint possibility of success.

    Obama's proposed internal security force will stifle such noble intentions.

    XTFreak, changes (funny word, 'change') such as you desire are best implemented from within the system, and we have the best system for fostering both change and long-term national viability and cohesion. Wasn't it Winston Churchill who said something like, "Democracy is the worst political system there is, but it's still better than all the others."

    The best way to keep a 'Government of the People, by the People, and for the People' is to 'Preserve, defend and protect the Constitution of the United States.' This is the responsibility of the People, regardless of the government or reigning political party. Stay cool.

    It is treason for a conservative to speak hatred for his country and run with people wanting a violent overthrow of our government. However, if you are a Socialist and do the same think they elect you President.

    Need I remind you of the suggested steps to the downfall of Democracy?

    1. from bondage to spiritual faith;

    2. from spiritual faith to great courage;

    3. from courage to liberty;

    4. from liberty to abundance;

    5. from abundance to complacency;

    6. from complacency to apathy;

    7. from apathy to dependence;

    8. From dependence back into bondage

    Where do you see us now? Next year?

    I fully expect Obama and his henchmen to shut down all opposition to them. That would be talk radio and the internet. All opposition to his new socialism will be labled hate speech and shut down.

    What do you mean "pack my guns and go to Washington?" You fool.

    You old fool.

    It is exactly your kind of crap (really just your big talk?) which will bring the anti-gun lobby and the BATF into your life. And perhaps ours.

    TS.com has some of the worst in America if this jerk is representative. Freedom of speech has both responsibility and consequences.

    Do you think before you type? You fool.

    Moderator should pull this thread and any others which imply murder of electors.

    Be careful, Obama's private militia might knock down the door to your house someday and drag you off. This isn't your dad's America anymore.

    There is a way to basically have a "Revolt" and be legal... Folks must vote. Not just President or Senators, but at the very lowest wrung of the ladders, the councilmen and mayors, governors. That way they will come up thru the ladders, and then get to the top. The Democratic system suffers from those who don't vote. It also suffers from people being lazy and not studying the issues, and records of the candidates. Youger folks, 18-20, don't research crap. They listen to election rhetoric and go off of that. I have fought these problems here in my home. My wife wants to vote just in the presidential election, and not in any of the others. Then my nephew beleives whatever Obama spews, without researching any of it. These two are a good example of the problem. The worst part, is that they B & M about it, but won't participate to correct it.

    The next knock you hear on your door might just be an "official" of our current government that will escort you to a nice room without a view.

    XTFreak,

    "taking your guns to Wshington" is not politically correct .

    However, if you're serious about "CHANGE" ,declare yourself a Social Activist, take some Dynamite and blow up the joint.

    That would be a win-win scenario.

    If you succeed, you will be a Hero and could become the next President. If you fail, you will still be a Hero and can become a Professor of Social Studies at any University .

    "Younger folks, 18-20, don't research crap. They listen to election rhetoric and go off of that."

    That problem is not exclusive to that age group. That is a problem that runs rampant through the whole range of voting ages.

    How many of you had PROOF that the polls (even the Republican Rasmussen polls) were skewed by having 10% more democrats than republicans polled? Everyone talked about it, but how many of you actually looked for the hard evidence? I posted it from their own websites on here for you to see.

    Skewing the polls is a big way to influence fence-sitters, and discourage the trailing party. This kind of influence is a great way to get the results that they are predicting.

    But nobody goes beyond what they hear on the radio, or what they see on tv.

    I was listening to NPR today. They were talking about education policies as pertains to the candidates. All on the panel were democrats. One was a guy that I could truly listen to, because he tried to present a non-biased response, and to give the merits and drawbacks of each talking point for each candidate. He made some great points for both sides. But EVERY TIME, they would ask him first, and then end up with the rabidly-democratic guy. Now why do you think they let him go last every time? Because it's a subtle way of leaving the listener with a selected point of view.

    I am really disappointed in our voting public. To me, it is clear that the people of our country can be very easily led by a pied piper, because most people want that which is comfortable, easy, and fast. Our whole country is driven by those 3 qualities.

    May I suggest that we already have a "built in" form of protest...voting. The problem is not with the government, it's with the people that vote in our government.

    So if you want to rebel or revolt, do it against the people that vote in socialism and anti-Americanism as you see it. And tell me how in the world one can do that, other than another American Revolution?
