I was watching some news coverage from Joplin for and about the Tornado victims and everything was fine when the Governor spoke, etc, but when the President came on, I started to look for something else to watch. Horton Hears a Who was a viable alternative while flipping through the channels. Is it just me, or are we all getting tired of listening to him? I thought that Horton hears a Who was appropriate, since it's about the voice of the people never heard before (except for an Elephant). Of course I was able to switch back for the rest of the event when the "wind" died down and Horton was over.

    I'm with you.......

I'd rather watch an infomercial about about a juicer than listen to that bag of worthless wind.

I've rarely had such a profound dislike for another human being.

Too bad there are no more test patterns to turn to when He comes on!

The President and first lady are said to be huge Dr. Seuss fans.

I'm with you. I follow politics closely, especially during the 18 month prior to a Presidential election. But Obama and the hypnotic effect he has on his Minions of Morons has sickened me to the point where I can hardly watch him talk. Prepared speeches are out of the question. Even when he announced we had shot bin Laden, I had my finger on the clicker.

PS: "Minions of Morons"... that's kind of catchy, sin't it? Maybe I should copyrite that, LOL.

I'm going to have to buy some cheap TVs so I can shoot them at the proper times. I damn near shot my good one in the den the other day.
