These are my opinions and beliefs. These have nothing to do with TS.com or any other venue this poor excuse for an essay may be posted to from here.

I believe we have been systematically indoctrinated into socialism since the 1960’s through the government education program and almost every form of media. I believe that November 4, 2008 will be remembered as the end of true freedom any where in the world. I believe we just witnessed a communist revolution without one shot fired. The true irony is that they, the voters, are so angry they do not even realize what they did. They voted for change, economic & financial security, wealth redistribution, and fairness, free & fair health care, equality, and whatever else they projected onto President Elect Barack Hussein Obama (AKA Napoleon the pig) believing he will take care of them.

I believe the most important thing for the democrats, AKA Marxist-Leninists is to get firearms out of the hands of the private citizen. We cannot have the ability to protect ourselves that has to be the responsibility of the government. They cannot allow us to protect ourselves from government either. I believe one or more of three things will happen and I am even afraid of mentioning it here.

    1) The liberal left will attempt to put a huge combo measure to systematically destroy the gun industry and ownership in an emergency economic stimulus package. Like an outlaw of lead bullets and pellets in the name of the environment and an enormous tax on guns and ammo like a federal 1000% sales tax on ammo and firearms. There might even be a new tax stamp to purchase or own a gun maybe $200,000.00 to own a firearm retro active of course. You can still own it, but you have to pay and register it with the federal government. If you cannot afford to pay for the stamp, you have to turn it in for destruction or get a major felony conviction. Then the military boot of the left will go door to door taking firearms out of houses.

    2) I mostly expect to see an attempted amendment to the constitution to over turn the second amendment. This is the best weapon the socialists have. They will use the document of freedom as a tool to enslave us even further.

"The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate."

I really do not think they will be able to do this but you never know. We had the 18th amendment then the 21st amendment to overturn it. (Alcohol)

    3) BHO will possibly pull an FDR and threaten the Supreme Court to allow laws passed by congress to strip away the right of gun ownership. He might even over load it with justices he knows will not block the congress' bills he signs into law. I believe that the Supreme Court is the only thing standing in their way. We will probably see judicial review again for the first time since FDR had the AAA act of 1933 overturned as it was unconstitutional. BTW there are a lot of programs that are unconstitutional like the SSA of 1934. It is in direct violation of the 10th amendment known as the reserve clause. Also, the SSA was designed to keep your money. You were not supposed to live long enough to collect. The avg. age for life expectancy was 59.7 years and it is now 81.5 years.

I believe that the democrats will have to do something about private gun ownership to fully turn us into a true socialist state. They, the democrats, AKA Marxist-Leninists need good citizen subjects not FREE MEN.

Our fore fathers founded this country on one main principle, AN INDIVIDUALS RIGHT TO PERSONAL FREEDOM. We the people have allowed the government to slowly take our rights away one little one at a time in the name of security either personally or financially. We just witnessed a revolution without one shot fired.

I hope Texas will secede from the union when they realize what is happening. I will pack my bags and head south.

    Very truly yours,

    Jeff Warren III,
    Dissident

Obama was never vetted by the media. While every Republican, and a lot of the Dems got a public rectal exam, no one ever ask Obama a single question about his qualifications, background, why he was never published at Harvard Law Review, how he became acquainted with Ayers and Alinski, why he voted "present" 135 times in the Illinois senate, and why he broke his own word about running for the Presidency in 2006.

A couple of nights ago, Tom Brokaw was being interviewed by Charley Rose on PBS. The major point brought up was Brokaw stating that no one knew anything about Obama.

Gee, they only had eighteen months to ask a couple of questions. Think the media were in the tank for this clown?

The public school system was created by a Marxist, John Dewey, with the exact intent of using it as the means to indoctrinate the youth into stupid compliant fools who could not understand how to use logic to determine the truth. It has succeeded beyond his wildest dreams.
    From Wikepedia:
"John Dewey (October 20, 1859 – June 1, 1952) was an American philosopher, psychologist, and educational reformer, whose thoughts and ideas have been greatly influential in the United States and around the world. Dewey, along with Charles Sanders Peirce and William James, is recognized as one of the founders of the philosophical school of PRAGMATISM. He is also one of the founders of functional psychology and was a leading representative of the progressive movement in U.S. schooling during the first half of the 20th century."

    "prag·ma·tism (prag'm?-tiz'?m)
Philosophy A movement consisting of varying but associated theories, originally developed by Charles S. Peirce and William James and distinguished by the doctrine that the meaning of an idea or a proposition lies in its observable practical consequences."
In other words, if you control the consequences, you determine meanings.

America is simply experiencing the diverse complexity of a free capitalistic society...somethings good, somethings bad.

Our greatest threat presently, IMO, is the lack of Jobs and the continuing lack of Jobs...that and its far reaching consequences will cause tremendous turmoil in this great country of ours, make no mistake, Jobs are what keep the Big Wheel turning....

    Trying times ahead...

    regards

Obama has promised to raise taxes on business so if that happens that will take care of the jobs. One can only hope that his socialistic pre-election promises to the "have nots" were only campaign rhetoric to get their vote and his economic advisers set him straight

The red states would make a nice new country. Only Colorado and New Mexico spoil the picture. If the Mexicans living there would go home that would probably fix that problem. We are too divided as nation. I don't see how we can ever come together. We are truly a divided nation. California and New York are getting ready to ask the rest of the country to bail them out of their failed socialism. I would love to let them go their own way.

Once again, I take my hat off to WIREGUY! You are correct about public education but it is even worse than that now. It has spread to private institutions as well. Those of us who have paid many thousands of dollars to watch our kids indotrinated my these Marxists will now see and feel the effects.

I have a friend who earned the first Silver Star in Viet Nam. His sone is a super liberal college professor who just got tenure. While his father was serving the country, he was being indoctinated by the Marxists. Ironic, isn't it?

Just want to through something out there, PLEASE do not take this the wrong way. Back during the Great Depression, there were tons of socialist programs formed. That, and a war, brought us out of the depression. After the Great Depression, a lot of the socialistic tendencies went away. Now we are again faced with an economic crisis, and if we become a little socialist for a period of time and it gets of out of this crisis, then so be it. We will of course fall away from any socialistic tendencies as the economy recovers, and we will be better than ever as a country. Just take a look at history before judgments are made.

Why did Obama garner the majority votes? Consider the words of Alexander Frazer Tyler, a noted scottish historian some 200 years ago. "A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government, it can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship."
Obama out did McCain with promises.

Regardless, a war certainly doesn't help us now. It's not like GM and Ford go to work building thousands of jeeps and tanks, etc. Look like we have to come up with another solution.

Trappy, my incredibly naive little sparrow, you have the cart before the horse.

The Socialist programs made the depression last 10 years instead of the 2 or so it would have lasted if the normal market forces were left to work.

Herbert Hoover destroyed a lot of lives and Roosevelt continued the madness.

We don't seem to learn, though. Looks like we are going to try and borrow our way to prosperity again.

It doesn't work in the private sector, and it won't work in the government sector.

And this time we have no industrial base or cadre of willing workers to sacrifice and save our ass.

You and others like you just don't get it.

A teacher driving a Prius is bound to be sporting an Obama sticker.

And I'll bet someone else mows his lawn and fixes his plumbing.

I hope you go downtown for the riots when the blacks realize they ain gwine git thier mo'gages paid by Obama.

    Keynes was a moron.

    Von Mises is the man.

It's not tyranny. We are all being held hostage to irresponsible government meddling in what should be private enterprise.

The escapist liberals have spoken, and think the government is going to fix this mess. They would rather die than have to clean up their own poo.

The Bear Stearns bailout was the beginning. It cost me alot of money not to hear the bell tolling then. Too late.

A so called "bailout" That included 180 billion worth of pork, with each one of those blackhearted scoundrels feasting on the corpse of private enterprise.

If I go to Hell, I want to be in charge of shovelling coal under those bastards.

Hasd to share this, from Indiana Libertarian site:

To call this a pork laden bill is an
absolute insult to all pigs. Pigs have
more class, are more intelligent, are
cleaner and a lot more honest than
the Idiots that pretend to represent
the American People in Congress today.

The time has come, if "IT" is in office now,
vote against it ... every one of them. Lets
replace them all. When the election rolls
around again and we see no change, then
vote them out again. We'll just keep doing it until THEY get right.

It is way past time for term limits. A term should be 4 years with a maximum of 2 terms
in either House or Senate. No retirement, other than Social Security (after age 67), and their Medical benefits will be paid out of Medicare only for the time spent in office. After that, go purchase it on the open market just like the rest of us.

We should continue to modify the above plan until the Pig Pen in DC is clean. And my
apologies the the Pig for comparing it to the representatives in DC.

    Tom

Tyranny?!?!! What the hell are you guys smoking?! The man hasn't even taken office yet! My god! So a Democrat got elected, when Bush got elected the first, and even second time, Democrats weren't acting like the sky is falling and we're all going to die! Get real! Man up already and suck it up! Your man lost, yes, but the country will survive! Most Americans believe that the country will have vast improvement with Obama. The American people selected him, he at least deserves a chance.
