A simple question for you trapshooters out there who bust clays on a regular schedule. Not considering weather, or any other conditions, what choke do you shoot most of the time (90% or more)?

I'll get it started -- I shoot a .42 which most would call an XFULL (extra full) Briley Thin-Walled Choke S-54. I use it from the singles line and into handicap. This choke throws a very dense 22" diameter pattern about 10" high (POI) above my POA (point of aim). I shoot a medium ribbed Ljutic Mono-Gun with a 34" barrel.

So, one vote for an XFULL choke....

My MX-8 is old enough that it has fixed chokes!
The lower barrel fires first and it is improved modified and the upper barrel is full.

With it that way I don't have to worry about stuck choke tubes, changing chokes, etc. I learned to shoot what I had.

.020 bottom,.030 top for dbls, .035 for long caps.

Prior to that, an imp-mod for everything and it worked well also.
