Yesterday our local Pheasant's Forever chapter held a trap shoot for kids. My nephew Grant shot his new 870 and is now hooked on the game and guns in general. It feels great to see the next generation pick up on our sport. We did not have one problem with any of the 28 kids. I hope that 10 years from Grant is still shooting with his buddies, Grandpa and Uncle Doug.

We had a Challenge shoot with a nearby club. We shot half the events at their place and half at ours.

As luck would have it, on that day they had Junior Archery going on indoors (it was Winter).

You should have seen all the kids with their nose stuck to the window watching us shoot doubles.

The interest is there, just needs to be properly fed.
