    I like it too.

Is this a new production gun? being they are up to the 725 I figured the 525 & 625 are not being made anymore

I have one of those BT99 Shot Show specials for use as my "guest" gun... for those who are thinking about it... no issue with glare from my experience with it...

it needs a set of wide whitewalls off of a pimped out Eldorado. I'm a Browning guy, but this one would never find a home in my safe. Sorry, everybody has an opinion...

I shoot the BT99 with that type of stock and metal. Shoots great except I do get glare off the silver rib when shooting toward the sun. I fixed that by mixing 50% flat black paint with 50% talcum powder, then painted that on the top of the rib; works great!

    No class, very utilitarian.

Looks likes what a $350 -$400 field gun would look like.

It's not my cup 'o tea but far from the worst i have seen. I still say the blue Beretta A400 Xcel is one ugly mug.

Like "open choke," I'm curious too ... Is it in production today?

I really liked the 525 I used to borrow at a nearby club. Yet, that laminated wood is uglier than ugly. I could manage the bright metal but not the wood.

the problem is that cheap ass laminated stock. and those ported skeet barrels. other than that, i think it has potential

ANY I MEAN ANY of that laminated wood to me is ugly. If its not true wood then don't show it to me.

Apparently NOT in current production. A bit of research found the same gun described as a 2008 or 2009 Shot Show special.

Browsing through Browning's current offerings, it looks like they learned how UGLY the laminate stocks are. While they have some composite stocks in either black or camo, all the stuff that looks like wood appears to be real wood.
