September 16-21. On opening day 100 Non-Registered targets at high noon.

The targets for this opening non-registered event will be set according to the rules, options, purses and pay-out percentages as it was 30 years ago.

Some of the greatest names in trapshooting history said they would attend this fantastic shoot in the fall!! Several shooters from yesteryear will be on hand, Dan Orlick and way too many other greats to mention! This "Retro-Handicap, circa 1969-1978" has garnered a lot of interest far and wide in short order! Steve has also written a two page tribute to Tony DiSimone for all his great service to shooters from all over! Below is a small portion of the program I copied and pasted.

"For those of you coming in early, take a look at the non-registered "Retro Handicap, circa 1969-1978" on Tuesday at noon. This event goes back 30 years in target setting, purses, options, and entry fee ($12.50 tgts!) This event will be followed by a complimentary food & drink party on the patio for all of our shooting guests, sponsored by White Flyer Targets."

The options are taken directly from the Mint program for September of 1969!!

    4- 25s@$5.00ea. divided 60/40%

    2- 50s@$10.00ea. divided 30-30-20-20%

Purse@$20/00 divided one money for each 10 entrants, high gun.

This may be the last big event at the Las Vegas Gun Club that Steve can put together there. The interest in this shoot is jamming Steve's mailbox since he announced it. This will be one talked about for a long time to come for those fortunate enough to attend!

What do you think of those option/purse splits guys? Hap
