Here is what we have to fight against.

If you can stand to watch the whole thing, post what you think are the flaws in in her thinking.

There are no flaws in her thinking as far as what she said. It's what she didn't say that we need to worry about. The problem, as with most Democrats, is the extent to which she might go in order to redistribute wealth and make things "fair." Democrats generally do not grasp the difference between helping and enabling.

Typical socialist democrat. Her concept of capitalism is slanted toward her socialist belief.

Yep, you put your life into building a business. Your goods travel down public roads and have police and fire protection. You need to pay MORE!! You use what the tax payers pay for.

Who do you think the company employe's, "tax payers" and the company pay's manufacturing taxes!

Get a grip woman! NO business(no taxes) equals NO employee's(tax payers) which leads to NO need for police and fire protection! Your road projects can be put on hold also!

    timberfaller got it right.

The fallacy with this leftist loon is, everything starts with business.

The trucks, the concrete mixers, the asphalt machines, the rollers, everything used in the contruction of a public road, was provided by private business, not the government.

It was private business that provided the uniforms, vehicles and tools used by the cops and the firemen. Government does not produce any of that.

Business also pays for the road through the taxes it paid as well.

Here is another leftist loon running for office. People need to be prepared to deal with people like her, because you heard from the applause of the uneducated people in attendence there, will more than likely vote for her, because they are too dumb to think clearly.

Trucking companies pay the lions share of hiway construction money through "Hiway Use Tax". (HUT for short) They send the federal government $550 EVERY year for EVERY truck they operated on ANY highway. Then there's the road use tax for EVERY mile they run which varies by state. Then there's the fuel tax that varies by state at the pump. In NY you get doubled dipped. .41 cents on every gallon of fuel, plus .15 cents for every LOADED mile they run, not to be confused with the .06 cent per mile rate for every EMPTY mile run. Then there's the NY State Thruway Toll road. From NY state line at Erie going east to the Mass line east of Albany for a truck loaded @ 80,000 the toll is $200.00 + dollars. Ever wonder where government squanders all this collected revenue? It sure isn't going back into the roads and bridges.

I'd just bet Miss Lawyer britches doesn't have a clue about any of this.
