It seems this is a good time to bring up this subject and one which I have always wondered about. In sub-freezing weather, is there a really decided negative effect on the operational mechanisms of guns.........to the point that it could/would make a difference? Sometimes, it seems to me that my automatic is a bit sluggish when I need to fire rapidly in very cold weather. Anybody else notice this? Is the operation of O/U's also effected? Neil....you got anything on this? I would really like to know. How about trigger operation? Drop time? Effects also on shell efficiency? Anyone?
