This is a site about clay target shooting. Please have the courtesy to put this in the "off topic" category.i That's what it's there for. Thanks

Is not the title of the topic "Shooting Related Threads?"

I remember seeing a clay target trap in the video so what is your problem?

I really enjoyed the video and believe that it is in its proper location.

    Paul, thank you for posting.

The title of the entire site is TRAPSHOOTERS,Com. That includes American, International, Skeet, and sporting clays and any other variation of releasing targets from a given point to be fired at using a SHOTGUN.

The owner of this site gave you a category, OFF TOPIC, where you can talk about any and everything else. I think that is generous and right. I think he meant it that way or he would have named the site something else.

    Barry:

If you watch the video, you will observe some young ladies shooting clay targets thrown from a portable trap. Is this not a "variation of releasing targets from a given point to be fired at using a SHOTGUN?"

The video also includes wonderful scenes of hunting, dog handling, wild game cleaning and cooking of wild game. It is a truly enlightening and educational video.

Did you actually watch it before you criticized it?

In the classroom, I see a lot of immaturity and ignorance. I have learned to tolerate this as high school students are still children who will some day grow up and become knowledgeable, thoughtful and responsible.

There are frequently posts in the Shooting Related Threads section that deal with handguns, rifles, personal defense and other shooting related topics that are not directly related to trapshooting.

Why are you not critical of these posts?

Are you serious Roach? Where is you rant over the entire list of non-Holy Trapshooting posts littered up and down this site? Pool Cues? Do you use 1 oz load in yours? Flea Markets, Tron's Womens Body Language, Lawyer jokes, Viagra Jokes, Wipes, Bullet Proof Cars, Favorite Car Ever, Worst Car Ever, Internet Speed, really Roach? Don't you think it's about time you stood up to Balistreri and nailed him hard for all his story telling and body aches? You let Bulge off the hook for Dating Advice from the Rabbi...that one apparently got past ya! How dare blade try to sell Silver Dollars on your site? The gall of that man! You must have really lost it when you saw someone looking for advice on Wood Stoves, I know it sent me to the moon, damn near vowing to never open this site again!! You pick one poster, beat him up over a video w/ a gun, hunting theme, and all the other non-TS posts went untouched...Don't know, maybe David hired you to be his little pony horse, but let us enjoy this site, open what we want, when you see the mrsskeets of the TS world mouse on down to the next one. Maybe David can create a new section for Hate Life in General-Titty Suckin' Babies Posters, allowing you and the likes to piss and moan in your own little space! Sorry Boys and Girls, but it grows tiresome reading negative post like that one...we don't need Off Topic Threads, just less nasty posts. I gotta get goin', I'm off to Shoot Sporting clays on a 50 degee day in NW PA- Life is good! Wishing everyone a Very Happy Day! Tim

I thought the film was done with good intentions in mind and the message is clear that hunting is a Family and friend oriented experience which is the way that it should be, not like some of the people that slaughter, and are poor examples of true hunters and sportsmen/women, You know the type...... they hunt deer over bait, run dogs to avoid having to get out in the woods where the deer are, and Proudly throw the dead animal on top of their rig to show off their kill. I have been hunting since i was a kid and was taught by my Family to hunt fair, and respect the animals that you hunt. Like I said the film was done with good intention's I am sure, However...........

Barry can complain and yell all he wants to as can anyone. It is a FREE country at least it is at the time of this posting. I can take it I have big shoulders and I'm comfortable enough in my own skin to listen. I have made mistakes in choices I have made in the past and I am always willing to listen to good reason.

I thought it was a shooting related thread. I looked at the optons and SHOOTING related fit better than OFF TOPIC. IMO.

As far as hunting deer over bait and or with dogs goes. If it legal where they hunt well OK. It is not where I hunt so we don't do that. The laws vary from place to place.

The inclusion of wives and girlfriends in the "shooting sports" be it trap shooting, sporting clays, bunker trap, handgun / rifle shooting or hunting will do a great deal of good. Aftet all a pro gun voice is a pro gun voice.

    That was a good video

When I moved to Texas I was surprised that you could bait deer in I always used to give my buddies crap about baiting Bambi in and blowing her little brains out, but it was legal

Eventually I got time to do so I did and my wife is a hunter and she went with me, it was a good thing, I built a big deer stand, plenty of room for two, and when she was along we had fun when there were no deer, if this stand's a rockin, don't come a knockin. Gee I wish we were still young!!!!!!!

Roach get a life, it was about shooting Geez

Don't give a crap what any of you think. This is not a hunting site. I guess your just the entitlement crowd who doesn't give a shit about order as long as it suits you.
