Some have learned to work the system.

    A Ford Dealer's Report

From Tom Selkis' (Latham Ford) Facebook..........

True story yesterday at the dealership.....

"I'll try to make this as short and to the point as I can.

One of my salesmen here had a woman in his office yesterday wanting to lease a brand new Focus. As he was reviewing her credit app with her he noticed she was on social security disability. He said to her you don't look like your disabled and unable to work. She said well I'm really not, I could work if I wanted to but I make more now than I did when I was working and got hurt (non-disabling injury).

She said the gov't sends her $1500.00 a month in 1 check, she gets $700.00 a month on an EBT card (food stamps), and $800.00 a month for rent. Oh yeah and 250 minutes free on her phone. That is just south of $3500.00 a month.

When she was working she was taking home about $330.00 per week. Do the math and then ask yourself why the hell should she go back to work. If you multiply that by millions of people you start to realize the scope of the problem we face as a country. Once the socialist have 51% of the population in that same scenario we are finished.

The question is when do we cross that threshold if we haven't already, and there are not enough people working to pay enough taxes to support the non-working people? Riots?? Be prepared to protect your homes.
She didn't lease the Focus here because the dealer down the road beat our deal $by 10.00/month. Glad to know she is so frugal with her hard earned money."

She also gets that 1500 to 2300 dollar income tax payment- despite not paying any tax.

She just has to wait for that check

    Regards from Iowa

Well yeah, it's more than a minimum wage job, you don't have to buy gas to drive to work, your car get zero milage, meaning no wear and tear, don't have to buy dress clothes for work, spend money on lunches, daycare or babysitter.....heck of a deal........almost like being retired.

This kind of c--p has got to stop if this country is to survive. I hope that salesman turned her in for fraud. Or is that not PC these days.

This woman is living better than most of the country. I’ve been poor to having money and back and forth more than a few time. Physically there has been no difference for me between having money and not having it. I’ve driven the same vehicles and ate the same food and lived the same way in both situations. The difference is psychologically. I worried when I didn’t have money. What will I do if the car breaks? If the car needs a new tranny or starter how will I get to work? What if work slows down? Etc….

This woman doesn’t even have to wake up in the morning. Is she afraid she might lose her job? Heck no, she doesn’t have a job. Does she have to worry if she oversleeps and is late to work? No, again she don’t have no job or no stinking boss to make happy. She knows that disability check is going to come in every month. It is probably direct deposited, so she don’t even have to worry about going to the bank. Worry about food? She knows that EBT card is going to get reloaded the first week of each month. She won’t starve. Since she is on disability ssi I’m sure she is on Medicare, so the health insurance part is covered.

$1500 a month guaranteed with no social security or Medicare withheld. EBT for food. Wonder is she can qualify for home heating assistance, since she is disabled? If she owns a home here in Indiana and is disabled you get a break on your property taxes. Wonder if she has kids? They would be eligible for free or reduced schools lunches and a lot of schools now have breakfast. If her local school has breakfast, she wouldn’t even have to wake up in the morning to cook em breakfast, the good ole government will take care of that.

$1500 a month guaranteed. If you had a million dollars and wanted a GUARANTEED return and put the money in Cds you wouldn’t receive the money this woman receives, plus you would have to buy your own food out of that.

    Not a bad gig.

    Caz...

I have to call BS. I cannot fathom this story as true. My daddy always told me if is too good to be true...it probably isn't.

Now, for the opposing viewpoint - from the Obama team:

"If we cut that woman off assistance, she won't be buying a car now, will she? So that would be an instant hit to the economy!"

"The mailman wouldn't have a check to deliver, putting him that much closer to no job."

"The person who rents her apartment will be one tenant short, hurting the local economy."

"The Piggly Wiggly won't be getting her business - nor the phone company."

"Why, heck...by my count, that adds up to about a 5 Trillion budget hit!"

"Now - I just don't think that's the way we wanna go. Why would you want America to turn backwards, and return to those kinds of policies? When I was President, we didn't used to do that."

(This message, boys and girls, was brought to you by the Letter "O," and the Number 16 Trillion)
