I've done a few failed searches on TS.com and I'm still looking for assistance in choosing a set of electronic muffs. I use the molded silicone plugs and they're too good. I am practically deaf when they're in, meaning I miss a lot, especially when on the line.

How dumb would it be to use a pair of electronic muffs over the plugs to amplify voices when guns aren't firing? If that makes sense, which brands should I look at?

Larry, I use Peltor 7s over molded plugs for that same reason.

Pro Ears and Walker Game Ears would both work. My experience is the Walker Game ears will adjust louder than the Pro Ears so that might tilt in their favor.
