Looking for something to do before Thanksgiving Dinner? Come on out and join us for Oxford's Thanksgiving Day Turkey Shoot. This is a 50 bird event with 13 turkeys given for 15 shooters. 12 awarded by lewis class and 1 lucky loser. The kitchen will be open for breakfast and lunch. Practice trap will be open and the first event should take the line at 9am. Cost is $21. Sign-up will start about 7:45am.

We will also have splash boards with big meat prizes. NY strip steaks, Deli bacon, beef roast, and pork roast. $1 per number, 1 prize per 10 #'s.

Hey West Chester GC, this is a good way to see some Oxford targets before the big shoot on Black Friday.

Well, I didn't get one of those pies (the Aldridges wouldn't share) but maybe there is a turkey in my future (plus a 47 is no good in a tough crowd).

Come on out and join us for some fun in the sun (I wish), and have a great Turkey Day!!

I just helped my buddy load up his decoy trailer. They won't be shooting for turkeys in the morning either. Maybe I'll have the trapfields all to myself in the morning. Is there anyone not waterfowling on Thanksgiving? If so I'll see you at 7:30am for breakfast in the club house.

Anyhow you do it, Good luck and good shooting.

Curt, Give the birds a break on friday and shoot with your fellow trapshooters against WCGC. Weather forecast is for bright sun and 75. Not good for waterfowling. I'm trying to keep a straight face.

    Richard...your nose is growing......

I have a 0600 meeting at the blind Friday......

25 mph + winds, front moving through.....birds in the air, gonna be a duck hunter's wish day!!

Good luck tomorrow and I'll check out the "Trophy" that Oxford will garner at the next meat shoot.
