1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Thanks for back dooring the bid to get a good deal.
I can understand that practice to get a good deal for yourself, But you purchase the gun to make a profit and list it here.
Money is Money and it makes some people funny.

Just a guy wanting a decent gun.....

Doesn't GunBroker have a 15 minute rule that prevents "back door" bidding? Share some thoughts with us Budster.

Whosyourdaddy.... Yes they do and for that reason! It's impossible to get "sniped" on GB.com unless you don't watch for the end of your auction. If you don't, you're S.O.L.! What difference does it make if someone buys a gun at a good price and turns it for a profit?? I don't know of ANY trapshooter that has not tried to make a buck on their guns when they can. We usually put more into them than we ever get out of them.

    Just my point of view.

I am trying to buy a decent trap gun. I lost a bid at gun broker- which is normal-

but then some guy is selling it here at a profit.

I realize the cost of shootin trap has gone up. but give a guy a break..

Is my original thought lost here? I was trying to buy a gun at a reasonable cost. I lost the bid. That happens, Then I see the same FFF,n gun listed here for sale for 250.00 more. Just Complainin, Keep breakin em all..

A buddy bought a sweet gun on GB, just the other day. Cheap, too. If the other dude speculates, that's his right with his property. He could lose his butt, too, as GB might have been a better price than he could get here.

There's always guns for sale. You'll find another. I think people ask too much here, but nobody forces me to buy from anyone on TS.

Maybe I stated it wrong but I drive a truck and cannot sit by the pc and hit the button. Maybe "back dooring" was not the right choice of terms.

I am not gonna pay 675.00 bucks for a used gun that sold for 1000.00 dollars when it was new. So if ya bought that Remington "1100" for 445.00, good buy.

When ya list it here for 725.00. Good Luck I am happy ya made some cash

I understand the money you guys put into the guns.

Then again. I ought to quit drivin my truck and start selling trap guns.

I will keep shootin trap but stop shootin yap with you guys.

Gun wheelin' and dealin' is part of the trap game. Be patient...reasonable 1100's pop up all of the time. Hang in there.

Quit whining, it's an auction, if you bid high enough you win. If someone other than a ts.com,er wins would that be better????

Buying guns on the internet...is simply a "roll of the dice" at best. Seen too many disappointed buyers. Regards, Ed

Best place on the web, right here, Bud. You will score a good shooting iron, and you will have more support than you would with Gunbroker. Stay with us :), and stay safe out there on the road.

    Hey Budster.

    It's called Capitalism.

Stop listening to all that Liberal Democratic hogwash.

Maybe I should pay for your trapgun out of my taxes.

Thanks for your reply Bushmaster. Did you see my last post before ya fired your comment off trying to make me feel like a welfare recipient?

If ya want to buy me a trap gun I would prefer a Browning BT 99 or 100 with an adjustable anything with extra barrels and about 100 flats of shells.

Again thanks for all the help

BudsterXT - I use to buy a lot of guns from Gun Broker. I bought few of them through the auction, but many from the Buy Now option. I would wait until I found what I wanted under Buy Now, and then acted immediately. Good buys under Buy Now go in a hurry. Act quickly and you will get what you want at a reasonable price.
