This is late as I haven’t had the opportunity to be on since I got back.

Last week I had the opportunity to be in the Harrisburg area for work related training. While there I had the pleasure of meeting with Vern and breaking some clays at the Mechanicsburg Sportsmen’s Association on Thursday night. Not the best of weather, windy and rainy, but a great bunch of guys and excellent targets, even those challenging ones in the wind. Shot pretty well until the last round. The shooter to my right had a target that danced out of his pattern, I’m sure that was it, and the wind kept lifting, and lifting that target as it fell. I swear that bird went a 150 yards before it finally touched down. After that I was laughing so hard and could not get that image out of my head. I had difficulty hitting anything after that.

The white birds under the lights are a winner.

If any of you guys have the opportunity to visit us at Bucks County, and I am there, introduce yourselves and your first round is on me.

What a great bunch of people Vern and the rest of the shooting fraternity make up.

Thank you for your company and hospitality.

    Hi Jim

Thank You, the pleasure was all mine and I'm sure the fellows at the club feel the same way. It's good to get together with others, that we converse with on here. Your welcome back to spend time with us, anytime.

The weather was rainy, windy and raw but that made the shooting more fun. Just be glad it wasn't registered targets.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. We just got back our electric, phone and internet services after being down for over 2 days. We lost everything on Saturday about noon and it just came back up. The generator has been running, only stopping to refill with gas and we burnt a lot of wood to keep warm.

We will try our hardest to get down and shoot at your club this comming year.

    Thank Again for the laughs.

    Vern

Be careful giving ST100 a big head... his cap may not fit!

Honestly, he is a nice guy to deal with from my persepective.

We are a long way from Buck Hill Falls, 100 mi. +/-. I think Pocono Slate Belt may be shooting on Sunday. I know there are more clubs in the area but am unaware of their schedules. If you do make it to SE Penna. sometime, look us up. My offer stands to all first time TS'rs that come and introduce themselves to me. I will be there this Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday, open at 10:00am. Sunday, open at 11:00am

I think that Genuine People describes Brenda and Vern...

I met them both at the Eastern Zone in Elysburg and am glad that we did..

It was my first time shooting in a big event in the United States and enjoyed it enough that I can't wait to return next year..

Vern is very informative and can relate to any topic that I may bring up...

Just yesterday we were discussing what a difference to weather patterns will we have due to the Earth's Axis shift from the Japan Quake...

Thank you Vern for the Trapshooting information which you have passed on to me, like the Bobby Orr commercial , it is priceless...

Now what size of cap does Vern wear..

    Thank You, Bob

It was a real pleasure to meet You and the NF Gang. I really enjoy our talks and look forward to seeing you again this summer.

Let me know if the gang is going to be there. I will need to know how many Cigars and how much Black Jack to bring along. After a couple drinks and some cigar smoke, we should be able to solve all the worlds problems.
