When you see one one at the Trapshooting Hall of Fame's silent auction at the Grand in its deluxe redwood case (also bought here on TS.com) you will wonder why you suddenly have to pay so much - and are willing to do so. Start saving now!

I'm enjoying mine. I learned that a red banded Beretta Optima skeet choke measured less than cylinder -.002, a bit loose I thought. A Beretta Optima modified was also on the loose side. Great tool to have and its nice not to have to guess at what your bore and chokes actually measure.

No doubt that's some beautiful workmanship, but just how many times do you have to measure the size of the bore of your gun? Does it change that often?

My check is ready to go in tomorrow's mail. It should have been sent out when the 12" and 18" were the same price. OH well. Dick Anderson

In answer to unknown1 - You are correct in that you only need to measure the bore of a gun once. Write it down and you are good to go! Until you trade it or buy another one which for me is weekly. Also I like tools and I like nice things so it is a no brainer. If you can afford a $$$$$$ shotgun you need one

What cigar said. Also, it's nice to measure other shooters' barrels when they ask...even if many of them don't know what the numbers mean.
