Phil, the tgt-12 wad is used by the Rem. factory in the nitro 27's, the green wad is also perfect for the high density powders like tightgroup, titewad, e-3 etc. incinerate em!

Yes. Works well when trying to re-create the Nitro-27 factory loads with Remington hulls and Hodgdon TITEGROUP powder.

Hodgdon's website has those loads listed with a Figure-8 wad, but the TGT-12S can be substituted (please don't take my word for it, though, call Hodgdon yourself.)

    2 ?'s

When you substitute a a TGT 12 for a Figure 8 or a WAASL for a WAA 12 do you use the same recipe that is listed for the 1 1/8 oz wad?

What is the effect, if any, on pressure?

    Thanks, Ron

the only difference between the 2 is a teeny bit of plastic weight, not enough to affect ballistics.
