One of Wisconsin's lukewarm, feel good pleaase everybody elected officials:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the right to bear arms and
various proposals for gun control. I appreciate hearing from you.

I believe the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to
bear arms, including for self defense, hunting and sport. I oppose
measures that seek to unreasonably limit this right, including gun
licensing requirements and a handgun ban. As a State Senator, I
cosponsored a state constitutional amendment to establish the right
to bear arms in the Wisconsin constitution. As a private citizen, I
was pleased to vote for the 2003 state of Wisconsin constitutional
amendment that guarantees the rights of all Wisconsinites to hunt,
    fish and trap game.

I feel strongly that the Second Amendment provides a core
constitutional right and should be protected. I support the right to
bear arms for lawful purposes -- for hunting and sport and self-
protection. Millions of Americans own firearms legally and we
should not take action that tells them they are second class citizens
or that their constitutional rights are under attack.

As a member of the United States Senate, I will continue to
carefully review all gun control measures that come before the
Senate. I voted against a March 2004 amendment reauthorizing
the ban on a certain kind of semi-automatic weapons because I
have come to believe that this ban was largely symbolic and
arbitrary. I supported legislation that permits retired law
enforcement officers to carry a concealed firearm, and, after the
tragic events of September 11, 2001, I supported legislation that
permits commercial airline pilots to carry firearms in the cockpit.

However, measures directed at keeping guns out of the hands of
criminals make an important contribution to fostering safer
communities and a more stable society. I will continue to give full
consideration to measures that do not conflict with the rights
guaranteed in the United States Constitution.

Thank you again for contacting me. I hope you will feel free to do
so in the future on this or any other issue of concern to you.

    Sincerely,

    Russell D. Feingold
    United States Senator

Now send this A-Hole another letter saying that you support Doyles position and that you hope that our US senator also supports him.

I'd like to see how "two-faced" this bastard really is.

Of the 72 counties in the state, 70 of them voted for the opposition. Ony Dane county(Madison) and Milwaukee County have enough Liberals, Blacks, and Queers to slightly tip the scale into Feingold and Kohl's favor.

I would surely bet that any letter asking for either one of these Senator's support for Doyle's proposal, would be more favorable than another pro-gun response.
