Just had to do it didn't you Dink, get them going. By the time the Grand rolls around all this hot weather will have passed and we won't even have to use our air conditioners. Midwest is hot eveywhere right now as we all know.

There were many years in Vandalia that were hot and humid. Not that I really know since this is my 29th. Wet,muddy, and flooded parking.

The weather is what it is, no changing it.

Can you imagine if global warming actually was happening how hellish it would be?

This is an unusual heat wave for June in the Midwest. Humidity is WAY down. This is very much like the heat during an Arizona summer. Its causing a bad drought. Corn fields turning brown and the plants curling up, trying to bury their heads back into the dry dirt!

102 degrees predicted in Ohio today. What's the temp in Hell, Michigan?

It was 104 on July 24 last year. It's still June!

I am one of those who cannot tell the difference of 104 in Sparta or 102 in Vandalia, but I remember when I was a kid growing up in Northern Indiana, near Lake Michigan, there were days it got up into the 100's.

Back then, we did not have global warming, global cooling, climate change, the EPA or enviro wackos. We just figured the heat was due to the summertime and the earth's rotation on it's axis bring us in more of a direct line to the sun, or some other such notion.

It's surprising how foolish we were back then and how we managed to survive not having all this "enlightenment" we have today. We just "liked Ike" and headed to the beach when it was hot.

Living with blinders on clearly. And yes - Ike and Tina Turner were great.

I have a very good grip on reality. Show me your evidence. I just don't believe in junk science based on political goals. Science is based on fact, not concensus.

Besides didn't the fools who started this already confess their studies were bogus?

    Who is wearing the blinders??

What has changed in the last 60 years than makes 100 degree temps then different from 100 degree temps now?

If you want to know about global warming and other important issues you might try a novel approach. You might try reading things that don't fit into your preconceived notions but be careful sometimes facts aren't comfortable.
