A friend was shooting a Beretta Teknys trap gun and the rib fell off...(HAHAHAHAHA). It seems that there is a U-shaped pin or clamp that holds the rib on to a post, I guess. He doesn't know what to do except to take it to the "six-month turnaround guy". I told him to wait a minute and maybe I could get some information off the TS threads....anyone know what, where, how etc. to get that U-shaped thingamajig? I already know he won't send it in, he has had it about 5 years and rarely shoots it. It will just go away if not repaired.

They are notorious for that. I believe they have interchangeable ribs is the reason they come off so easy. I do not know how to fix it though. I watched the same thing happen to my buddies gun. I almost pee'd myself laughing at him He had bragged that gun up for so long, it was fitting it happen to him.

got tired of rib problems on my 391. sent the barrel to Moneymaker, had their 3/4" high 90/10 rib installed. no more problems. great gun, had a design flaw, problem solved.
second problem, adjustable comb hardware. one call to Graco and no more problem. So,fix it, sell it or live with it. your choice. Jack

    Easy to fix.

The rear of the rib is supposed to butt up against the lip of the receiver when the barrel is installed. Bend the rear tang of the rib so that it does- and probelm solved. I've done this to half a dozen Teknys guns.

This happened to mine as well.

Clean the exposed slide area well then apply red lock tight to the exposes area and the top of the posts on barrell, close slide, let lock tight dry and problem solved.

There is a spring type flat leaf spring that locks into the rib, bend it slightly in other words bend it up and then the rib will lock into place.
    Try that befor sending back.
