Everyone was hiding from the heat.....There where 221 shooters I think.

Yes he did mate the State single Barrel, Awesome result for a 12 year old. He shot the only possible, the next two went to 153 for 1st in AA

That is awesome! So what did you shoot to make the state team?
    50 double barrel, 50 single and 50 point score = 250 possible?

And what shells did you end up with?

I shot 46 single after a dodgy start ,cause i nominated late i was in the last squad on my own !!! so a couple of other guys jumped in to make up half a squad and dropped I the first 2 targets
then 50 double then went 49 in shootoff and 149 points....

HA....I ended up using 1250 clubs cause thats all that was left to buy...and that was the last case too

5 down is a good score, especially after dumping the first 2!

Those clubs are a good shell, better off the 15 than the elites. Do you use 32s for handicap? What type?

I'm heading to wagga for a 2 day shoot this weekend to try get some practice there!

Still trying to work out if i can afford to come to Wagga, ive never been before and would love to. Ive only been to Roma for the nationals

    Thanks for sharing the photos.

I couldn't help but notice the brown grass. With temps of 40-41C (104-106F) I understand why. : )

Maybe we can do a meet and greet in the beer tent at the Grand for everybody that's interested.

Thanks Adam, I should have put that together with the temperature in C. and not in Fahrenheit.

    Mike...yep 25 meters

Sissy..Yeah its very dry here this summer after a wet winter....lots of dead grass around. we hadnt, up until Monday last, had any rain for 6-7 weeks, 40-41 deg temps are VERY rare here in Tasmania (unlike WA eh! Gary) we also sit under the ozone hole so the sun is very strong down here.

Gary...I meant to grab a chat with Josh, I think I used to shoot against him in my junior days at field & game (sporting) and I noticed he was from Busselton which is were we hope to move to, when sell up and come back to WA.

You guys wouldn't happen to know Geoff Hunter would you? I shot with him while he was staying here in the States and haven't been able to get a hold of him lately. Great guy, the club isn't the same without him!!!
