I am setting up a new trap and would like to know the height and at what distance from the front of the trap I should be to set the height.I also would like to know the dimensions of making the pole.

we do a quick set up at the club 30' from center of the house, pole is a old fishing net with net removed, the ring of the net is placed on a pole. The bottom of the ring is at 8' the top of the ring measure 9' 6". If the clay passes through the ring it is good to go. We then set speed by distance, lack of radar gun. We set so it hits just shy of 50y marker.

djcuda I have included in the website address line above look on pages 48-50 for all target setting information. Of course that is assuming you wish to set up to ATA guide lines.
