Has anyone tried this product on a beretta 391. How well does the lever work? Does it mar the guns finish?
    Thanks for the info!

I thought it didn't work well. The tab doesn't help that much, and obviously
you can't use it for doubles.

Get the regular T&S shell catcher and an aftermarket closer. The Angleport is the best. Pure Gold and Briley make one, too.

I tried it, it works fine. Didn't hurt the finish. Makes pushing the button much easier. I'd buy 3 of those before I pay for another $60 aftermarket closer. Like dickgtax said, can't shoot doubles with it, but is snaps on/off real easy for doubles.
Spend the $20 bucks and try it. If you don't like, sell it on this site.

Have one on my Parallel Target. Used it for 400 rounds so far,no problems, caught every shell. Cheap & does the job. Only problem, cant't be used with the Ballestic Specialties Cocking Handle unless bottom of handle is trimmed.

I still think the best on the market is the Carey Closer msade by Don Carey out of Idaho.

They don't work very well. They make a great catcher, but not so good a closure.

Jeff, you don't get nearly the leverage or smoothness when compared to an Angle Port or similar closure. I suggest getting a T&S catcher and a seperate bolt closure....works far far better.
