How can targets be properly set at a shoot without a T-Bar? I've seen traps switched from doubles to singles at some shoots and a T-Bar was never used.

    I thought that a T-bar was required.

Also, I've seen traps switched over without a radar gun.

By the rulebook, I see how you could get away without a radar gun. But how often do you see level ground and no wind?

I use a T-Bar and a radar gun to set targets. But, the final and critical test is to stand on post three and carefully look at the targets. I can tell by looking if the targets are too high or low. Speed is harder to judge by just looking but I can tell if the targets are falling too fast and need more speed. I always check the speed with a radar gun but I will change the height without a T bar. The critical factor is the height of the targets at 30 yards, not the target height at 10 yards.
