Synthetic Dot 3 Brake Fluid

    For you guys using Dot 3 Brake Fluid as coolant for shotmaking. If anyone has tried the new stuff, does the new synthetic act the same as the old stuff for coolant purposes? The parts house said they would not be getting any of the old stuff anymore.

    You should be able to find DOT 4 glycol fluid; most new cars since about 2005 use it instead of DOT 3 because 4 has higher wet and dry boiling points.
