Anyone shooting the new Winchester SX3 Sporting gun? I saw one in Scheel's yesterday and thought it looked like a decent gun at a decent price. $1399.00
It has a 30" ported barrel, adjustable comb stock. Any comments? Good or bad would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve

I haven't shot one but they come up sweet for me.

I'm trying to keep all my autos in one family (Benelli) or I'd have bought one by now.

Same as a SX2 sporting, but the stock design is more for those with petite hands. The action between the two is pretty much the same.

My son has one shortly after they came out. Likes everything about it.
I have shot it and felt the recoil was much less that Benneli.

One of the regulars I shoot sporting clays with recently bought one. He shoots everything well, but he let me try it and I was impressed. If I weren't too old to be picking hulls up off the ground, I might try one.

Don't have a Sporting model but do have a 31/2" field model that shoots everything from heavy magnums to light target loads. Not a problem yet. Felt recoil reduction is very good. Also is a very good handling shotgun.

I think you would be pleased with the SX3.
I've had an SX3 for about 2 years. Prior I was an 1100 guy for 30 years.
    Mines does not adjustable comb.
I have been impressed with the gun-weight, recoil and feel-
My wife shoots it but its a little long for her and my shorter daughter likes in spite of fit.
In sum, it has little recoil for a 5' 4" 110 ibs 22 year old so us old fat men ought to shoot it well
The SX3 is my hunting gun, I use a MX2000 for clays
