    Guys,
If i were too shoot My SX-1 without the rubber "O" ring in place would it cut down on the ejection speed for singles? Or if were too remove the "O" ring and the steel ring behind it would that help? Would it do damage too the gun by shooting it this way? I dont mind if i have too manually pull back the bolt handle on each shot Thanks Richie

If your looking to decrease felt recoil, put a magnum spring in the stock. SuperXjeff would know the details. I believe wrights, brownells, nu-line all carry them.

I don't know why someone would want to do this unless he is attempting to stop the ejection of hulls. But this won't decrease recoil, it will add to it. And how do you think this will damage the back of the bolt?

Texas is right, it will add more recoil.

The bolt will hardly come back and you will have to open the bolt after every shot. The bolt will not be coming all the way back so it will not hurt the bolt and will not even contact the bolt buffer.

Try it for yourself, you will not like it. Believe me I've tried it all.

I think that shooting sans the o-ring will damage the F/E . POC will be substantial and HOT . But , please try that and let us know of your results .
