Jeff, Don't be suprised if it sells. It would cost you 1200 to 1500 to have that set built and since wood for them is so hard to get the price isn't that high. The same set from NU-Line would be more money then he is asking. Nice wood is expensive and wood that is hard to find is more so. Jeff

Cheap really... The blank alone would cost you 250.00. So to get it turned, checkered, and finished for 250 bucks is about 1000 dollars cheaper then you will have to pay to get it done. I understand the logic that you can buy a gun for 800 to 1250 but many people do not want to go through that, let alone sell off the rest of the gun. Go buy a new set of 1100 wood from Remington and see what that sets you back. It's only expensive relative to what SX-1 shotguns used to sell for.Jeff

The SX-1 trap guns that I have did not have a thin plastic butt plate like this stock has.

For a X-1 Skeet gun, it has mediocre to slightly above average wood with what seems to be a scratch....it is OVERPRICED....if you do your homework, you can do better.....it stands to reason people who profit from selling X-1s and their parts would want to inflate prices.....
