I've been away for awhile... Do I still have any friends here? cls
Hey Chuck...where have you been? still in Mi.?
Was that you I seen at the Tigers game last Thursday? Wasn't sure.
Yes u do.
Welcome back CLS. Harv
Hey Chuck. Long time no see.
Chuckie, good to see you back ... might slide over to Bluewater on Sunday, if I can get someone to go with me. Bill Malcolm
Chuck!! Welcome back. Of course you have friends here.Jeff
Hey - still with Chrysler?
Of course you do buddy. Take care. John
Great to see ya Chuck!
Sorry...I didn't recognize you with that haircut! How are things?
Nothing has changed...the blind leading the blind as usual.
Welcome back! Just in time for "no politics" season.
Buzz, ya mean there is more than one hippy here?
Hi Chuck; Good to hear from you. Jerry
Wow, it's great to be remembered! Thanks! I sure miss the smell of gunpowder and the vision of smokeballs drifting away downrange. But most of all I miss the friends I've met on and around the Trap range. I still have a Trap gun, and a few thousand reloads, so I plan to get back into it sometime soon
Joe, I've not been to a Tiger game this year. Watching them beat up the Twins on TV now though. Roger, I hope you and your family are well, I see some of AJ's posts on Facebook now and then. Bill I do hope to see you at Bluewater someday soon. But I think I'll get a few thousand under my belt before I head out there. I'm still 300 straight there in Singles and would LOVE to go for 400 (some serious wishful thinking there aye?). Ed, yes still with Chrysler and very happy to be so, 28 years now. Are you still directing a service department somewhere? Do you still get out to see a good dirt track race? Jim, I'm still bashing on a Les Paul a few times a week, I hope you are too. Don't play much but I sure practice a lot. Denny I hope all is well with my literary friend. Pat, let’s get together, maybe at a registered NCSA event sometime soon. I have a life membership but they stopped sending me their magazine due to my inactivity. Jerry I hope to share a Trap field with you someday soon. Thanks again everyone for the reply, I'll be seeing you! If anyone is interested you can find me on Facebook by searching, Charles L Schmidt . Thanks again!
I retired in February of 2011 and now work part-time for Enterprise Car Sales driving vehicles all over the northeast and middle Atlantic regions. And believe it or not, I now own a Dodge!
Yes, after all the horrible product quality and poor wholesale employee contacts I endured with Chrysler ten years ago, I was so impressed by the Fiat-owned Chrysler's 2011 and newer products that I bought a retired rental vehicle eight months ago, a 2011 Grand Caravan Crew.
I don't shoot trap competitively any longer. Eye problems have me shooting about eight targets off my former average and it just isn't as much fun any longer. Taking a planned few years off showed me how much money I had been spending to throw lead shot downrange and how many other things I had been missing in life, so I now just shoot for fun and then only when the mood strikes. I no longer feel I "have" to shoot like I once did.
It's good to have you back. I always enjoyed our exchanges, including the ones about the automobile business.
A few things have changed Chuck. Ive been living in South Africa on a work assignment for 2 years now. Brought my trap gun over. They shoot a lot of ATA trap over here!
That depends Chuck, are you still a dead wings fan?
