About half of the deaths portrayed in that video could have been prevented by someone with a CCW. Granted, they couldn't have stopped the initial barrage where the guy shoots 4-5 people in the first 5 seconds, but there at least 3 dead bodies shown that occurred after that.

"The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun". Its just a matter of whether you want the good guy to be a CCW holder who's Johnny-On-The-Spot and ready to deal with the problem immediately, or you want the good guy to be a cop who shows up MANY minutes later after the bodies have piled up like cord wood.

Notice that the bad guy also completely ignored the "No Weapons Allowed"/"Gun Free Zone" verbage on the building's door. Gun Free Zone=Whacko Shooting Gallery, nothing to stop him from killing as many people as possible until he either gets bored and kills himself, runs out of ammo, or the cops arrive many minutes later and stop him.

But 548 is all for restricting magazine capacity of law abiding citizens. So the CCW would have to get the job done with a 10 round or less magazine. Of course the criminal doesn't care about magazine capacity laws. You can't tell the libs that though.

He is also in favor of not allowing law abiding citizens to own what he terms "military grade" weapons. So my WWII Government issue Colt 1911 is gone. No more M1A matches at Camp Perry cause its a "military grade" weapon. The new sport of 3 Gun is history cause they use "military grade" weapons. All those old Remington Model 11's and Winchester Model 12's are gone too because they used those in WWII which makes them "military grade" weapons. This is the way this slippery liberal slope works but 548 is all for it.

It is a public service announcement from the Department of Homeland Security. This is not a left or right, pro-gun or anti-gun, democrat or republican issue. It's just plain a good video to watch and forward to your family members. Nothing more, nothing less. No hidden messages intended or unintended.

Notice that the video was produced by the City of Houston, Texas?

Wonder what the video would have looked like if was produced in San Fran? Instead of Run, Hide, and Fight it would have been Hug, Come out of the closet, and Turn the other cheek.

Of course you're all aware you're not supposed to post something like this, while Shooting Coach is away from his computer....
