My wife says I have too many shotguns for trap shooting. I have 5: BT-99, XT, Ljutic Mono, and 1100(2 of them). I'd like to get a Perazzi.

I told her that I will take a survey and let her know what is the average number of shotguns an average trap shooter owns.

So how many trap shooting guns do you have in the safe?

Last time I bought guns, I bought seven (7) of them all at once so you are safe ... I have a safe full besides those, I sold 5 Model 12's so I am down to 9 of them besides the other guns in there ... They are all for sale with the exception of the Model 12's ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

I would buy a couple and quickly. You need to distance yourself from that unlucky number and soon.

Sorry, I've got you all beat at one. My TB does just fine although I have been lusting after a Model 12.

I think a better question would be how many get shot on a regular basis.. For me..2.. My 30.75" Perazzi O/U and my MX10 31.5" ultra light O/U.. When I get serious.. it will be only 1.. The rest is a collection of knowledge.. like pictures of your past..to look back on.. All Good.. Mike

Not less than 5 but not more than 15 for trapshooting. Next will be a 97 that looks brand new. 30 inch full. The same person has a 101 two barrel set, 30 in o/u and 32 in single. He has promised to save them for me. There's just something about them that I really like. LOL Jackie B.

Years ago, My wife and I were self employed and our income could allow me to be a Remington 870 collector. Over the past three years I have sold everyone of those guns except 4 of them. Three are for my grandsons, a nib Remington 870 All American, purchased from Hall of Fame member Ruby Jenner, a gun she had won at one time. Another a 1964 Rem 870 TC with less than 500 rounds through it with fantastic wood, and a D grade with 300 shells through it with fantastic wood. I shoot a Rem 870 TB. Now at my peak, I had numerous Remington 870's in all gauges. When my wife would complain that I had so many shotguns, I would just say to her "YOU DON'T HAVE TO FEED THEM"! I would also tell her some husbands go after work to bars and drink and look for women. I go to work come home and clean my collection of guns, enough said..

One Alfermann, one Krieghoff, and one SKB. But bear in mind the answer someone told his wife the last few times she asked how many guns he needed "Just one more."
