from cnn "U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had surgery today for pancreatic cancer." Unless she resigns to let Obama appoint someone the balance just tipped for awhile. Pancreatic cancer killed my father, wouldn't wish it on anyone.

That type of cancer has only a 4% survivoral rate. She's already dead for all intents and purposes!

The only bad news is that the Big O may (and probably will) appoint someone more liberal than her.

Presidents are usually disappointed on how their SC nominees vote once they get in the job for life with no accountability. Many liberals become conservative and conservatives become liberal. Any choice can be a crapshoot.

As far as replacing Ginsberg and John Paul Stevens, (he's only about 110 years old); Hussein will not hurt the balance of the court at all. Both of these fools are as liberal as you can get. Ginsberg was an administrator for the ACLU !! Look how David Souter turned out. He was appointed by old man Bush and he's about as liberal as they come. Ed

You couldn't find anyone more liberal than her. The worst Obammy could do would be to maintain the status quo. He will get to appoint more left-wing communist judges though. And they will be passed by the left-wing commumist Democratic Senators.
