Today at the Minneapolis Gun Club we hosted a Support the troops day. We had outstanding day with a huge turnout. We had an Honor Guard there to dedicate our new flag pole and a Blackhawk helicopter land and spend a couple hours allowing our visitors/shooters to talk to the crew and even climb in the "drivers" seat.

We also had a silent auction and a raffle for an over/under shotgun with proceeds going to the Blue Star Moms Association.

There were many past and current soldiers representing all branches of our Armed Forces. It was a very moving day and made us all proud to be Americans.

This is a traveling, for now, memorial to the fallen Minnesota soldiers that have died in Iraq.

God Bless all of our troops, at home and abroad, past and present. Thank you for protecting our freedom.
