1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I can't find a dealer with Remington Figure 8 wads. Has anyone used a substitute they can reccommend? (12 Ga, 1 1/8 DownRange?). Many thanks for your help.

Been using Downrange figure 8 wads for the last two years or so.

    I would highly recommend them!

Plus they are now a pretty gold color. Pretty sharp!

    hot springs:

Claybuster makes a pair of Figure 8 substitutes. The CB 8118-12 is the clone. Claybuster also has a proprietary wad that is a near clone but not quite identical. The cushioning loops are more diamond shaped than round loops. Claybuster calls it the White 8. The product number is CB 3118-12A.

Having shot Remington's original as well as a bunch of both Claybuster products, the only noticable difference is price.

Give both DownRange and Duster wads a call or email them. They will send you samples and then you can decide. I DID...
