i have had a stock and forearm blank that i have been storing for a few years as i will be using it on a project, the question is it is coated in wax and i would like to strip the wax w/rubbing alcohol or some other product so i can see the naked wood, i live in so cal so moisture is not a problem, but should i seal it back up or can i let it sit bare and let it breathe ? thx steve

All the blanks that I seal with wax are the ends only. never hear of anyone sealing the whole blank in wax. How will it dry if completely coated in wax, just want to know, Ronnie
