Sorry bout your gun Scott...you might want to give us more details though...like where stolen,..when and how...helps if the guys in the same general area of the theft know to be looking and the other details might help prevent another victim

I am sorry for your loss but confused as to why anyone would leave a gun in their vehicle. This happens to often

CC2000, what about when you have to use the bathroom on your way back home from a registered shoot? Or you stop to get gas and have to go into the shack. There are a million reasons that your gun could be in the car.

Sorry to hear this Scott. Seems odd they would take the shooting bag too. It is just one more thing to give them away. What kind of shooting bag? Anything different about it, or its contents? I am thinking it was someone watching you at a recent shoot, or someone that watched you put it in the truck, and not take it out. What are the chances someone is just walking by and decides to break into your truck, only to find a very expensive trap gun, along with shooting accessories? See anyone acting suspicious that you may recall? Do you remember anyone driving by when you parked? Is there any video security systems in the nearby area? Usually these automatic systems used in Gas stations, etc, re-record over the previous weeks, days, starting at Midnight. So you still would have a few days to access those. Hope you get it back. Hopefully you still have the KS-5 to shoot. Take care, Jon

It was a Browning two toned shooting bag, had the usual, 2 pair Decot glasses, Lenses, shamrock shell pouch, gloves, tools, and some other misc stuff

Yes shot the KS5 last night....with a borrowed shell pouch, Walmart glasses...ugh

After Brenda and I found out about Scott's loss, it gave us some deep thoughts. One thing we did the next morning was to call our Insurance Agent and check on the amount of money you would be reimbursed for a theft. We checked on both our home owners and auto insurance.

Scott...I hope you get everything back, soon and in the condition it was taken.

    Vern

    Scott,

Was shooting at Leetown yesterday and heard the bad news. The crew there is keeping an eye out for your belongings in our general area. Hope they are recovered fast.
