Just talked to a shooting buddy just back from Florida with bad news. On March 17th at the Silver Dollar his K-80 combo was stolen out of the back of his truck. Serial# is 010928. Gun has a adj. pad in a Kreighoff case. Barrel lengths were 34 single and 32 o/u. If anybody has any info please call Bob Shellhammer at419 798 5212,Marblehead ohio. He has no computer. thanks BOB

    Shootman,

You need to tell your friend to contact all gun dealers and pawn shops in the area and give them the description and photos if he has any.

It seems the K-80's are popular guns to steal, as the same model gun was stolen from Triple B shooting range in Los Angeles recently. A few weeks after the gun was stolen out of the back of the owners vehicle, it was presented at a gun shop to try and sell it. The gun shop had been alerted and immediately knew it was a stolen gun. I believe the person trying to sell the gun to the gunshop was arrested as well.

Bottom line is, the gun is back in the owners posession.
