Please be on the lookout for a stolen browning citori plus serial # 38869NZJ43. It was stolen from our Otsego, MN home over the holiday weekend. Please respond to this thread or email me at graingrenade@yahoo.com if you happen to run across it.

    Thank you

I have been tring to find a picture of it on the internet but I'm having little success. Brownings web site has a manual that shows a picture.
    The link is http://media.browning.com/pdf/om/citoriplusmanual.pdf
    It's under customer service\owners manuals\historic Manuals.

It's an over/under with an adjustable rib, adjustable comb and a recoil reduction system. It looks just like a BT-99 Plus except it's an over/under.

What length barrels? Any quick way to ID it such as a big scratch or dent in the wood, aftermarket recoil pad, glow front sight, soft comb, etc?

There's nothing extra added to the gun. It has 30 inch barrels.

I might have to take you up on your offer djcuda if mine isn't found.

I'll probably end up having to buy another one from one of you guys. I'm sure I'll need to find the price of a comperable new gun to give to the insurance company for replacement cost. The only gun I can find that's close to comperable is the Browning Citori XT Trap Unsingle Combo but that doesn't have the recoil reducer.
I wish they still made the Citori plus, I love that gun.

Sounds Like the insurance company may try to screw me on the replacement value. As long as I get enough to at least replace it with a used one.

do you have actual cash value coverage or replacement cost coverage. If you have the better of the two, they have to pay you what you paid for it or what the value is today which ever is the most otherwise they can depreciate it.

I have replacement cost coverage. Actually I believe the way the policy reads they are supposed to pay what it costs to replace new of like kind and quality. I don't think the adjuster understands that when a gun is not produced anymore the value doesn't decrease like it would if it were an 870.

Sorry for your loss...on my last response what I was asking was if there was anything unique..stickers? known scratches? I see you said no on that..You're probably looking at a minimum of $1500 for a decent replacement
