Stock Twist

    Just what you think it might mean. Looking down on the stock you will see that it is "twisted" to the right (for a right-handed shooter). It is the affect that people attempt to duplicate by installing a butt pad that can be rotated. On a custom-fitted stock this "rotation" is built into the actual stock.

    CANT has more to do with the total gun and not just the stock

    "Canting" is what could/would happen if the stock wasn't twisted.

    I have heard this mostly commonly termed as "toe out". Since you can couple this with an offset comb, you sure can get a stock that looks like it was twisted
