My question is if I have my stock cut shorter will I have more felt recoil at a shorter length then if it is now. the lop now is 14/1/4 I would like to be 13/ 3/4. The gun that i shoot is a Caesar Guerini Combo. Your comments would help. Thank you Rjm N.M

The only way to tell will be when you shoot it. HMB

When the stock is shortened, the pitch can change (if it's not done properly) and that could result in more felt recoil.

But having a shorter length of pull, everything else being equal, should not result in more felt recoil.

as someone who has been cutting stocks for shooters fof 40 plus years shorter does not change recoil. set the stock cut to 0 pitch and you will feel less recoil and less muzzle jump. jack concannon
