    Pros: Strong, easy to work with as far as alterations go, cheap, lots of color choices and combinations to choose from.

    Cons: Damn ugly, sometimes people laugh.

    UGLY....Mine faded to a dog butt ugly green.
    Hard to work......Glue is very hard on machine bits and files.

    I've seen them on Browning, Krieghoff, and Kolar - all from the factory. I'm
    surprised they're not more popular.

    Yes dickgtax, they seem to be getting nicer all the time and with fine walnut getting harder and harder to find, you will no doubt see more in the future.

    With the laminated blanks selling for around $70 in about 20 color combinations, more will start showing up. They really make a good gun stock if the gun is going to be a shooter and not a show piece. The stocks are really tuff and take a hard beating.

    I rather like the laminated woods. Great color and cheap. Only con I can see is that tIt is very hard and difficult to work with.
