"Stock Fitter's Bible" is THE definitive book on 'gun' or 'stock' fitting. The relationships of all aspects of shooting form, stock dimensions and shooter size and shape and their relationships are explained.

If you cannot get to a professional stock fitter, the book will explain how you can fit your gun to the correct gun mount, stance and body posture (shooting form) if you take the time to learn what's in the book.

All books are mailed to U.S. addresses using Priority Mail.

I got mine a few days ago. It is very informative and I believe will be very useful in my quest to break more targets.

"The relationships of all aspects of shooting form, stock dimensions and shooter size and shape and their relationships are explained."

This is very important knowledge even when you do have a custom stock made to your specifications. Next time your at the trap range, take a look at all the different gyrations some go through to get their eye aligned with the sighting plane? I've watched some tilt their head so far forward I don't see how their eye muscles could stand much of that? In my opinion, that's unnecessary strain both on the eyes and neck muscles. Hap

    Hap,

I agree. You don't have to watch very long to see some pretty extreme gyrations.

I have your original book, and like it. It's written so a layman can understand the relationship between the different stock dimensions. My question is, is it worthwhile to upgrade to the new book?

    Brian,

That's impossible to answer. The book has 30+ more pages but whether the new informaiton would be of value to you, I cannot say.

I ordered mine- any reference like this is valuable and keeps people from shooting from the hip(so to speak) on gun fit.

I have seen hundreds of shooters advised on gun fit by old hands- and the advice wsnt even close

    needed publication

    regards from Iowa
