I have an 870 wingmaster in 410 gauge and it is way to short for me,I would like some ideas about using a slip on pad vs the spacers.I see Butler creek and Pachmayr make slip on pads.Has anyone tried using these vs the standard spacers?PJ

Remington seems to think that 14" is a good standard LOP, so I have modified my 870s, 1100s, and 11-87s. The easiest way is to add a slip-on pad over what is already there. Depending on what brand you get, you can add 3/4-1". Mark
